Our projects for young people

Piano for all

La Roque d’Anthéron is the mythical stage of the most beautiful artistic discoveries. The rarest, most talented, and greatest pianists have been performing there for 40 years. As a leading cultural player, we are actively preparing the 2021 edition and wish to increase our focus on efforts for young people, in a context that is still difficult and uncertain due to the health crisis. By making a donation, you foster artistic excellence and diversity in Provence, enable new projects to be planned, and play the tune of talents and festivalgoers of the future.

The Festival team has been developing various actions aimed at a young audience and talents for several years.

Our projects for 2021, a festival focusing on young people

  • Take part in setting up classical music awareness and discovery actions for young audiences.

> By contributing to the “Lycéens au Festival” project, which in partnership with the Sud Region enables classes of upper secondary school students to discover classical music and the life of the Festival through workshops, conferences, artistic meetings and many concerts.

> By providing support for the project undertaken with pupils from the La Roque d’Anthéron, you enable an educational show to be set up during the school year, discovery of the park of the Château de Florans and the Festival, and the opportunity for each student to attend one of the season’s concerts. This action can also be provided for pupils in other villages in Provence.

  • Choose to support Festival’s Ensembles in Residence Master Classes

Each summer, the Festival receives young chamber music ensembles in residence that benefit from public Master Classes given by great instructors.
The aim of the Festival is to promote a new generation of artists.

Over the years, 53 teachers and renowned artists have led these educational weeks. We have welcomed more than 500 young instrumentalists, some of whom have marked the history of the Festival by becoming top artists on the international scene. Ensuring bringing forth the performers of tomorrow is a proud moment and unequalled opportunity

Support from everyone is necessary in order for these wonderful educational adventures to continue. Don't delay, join us, and become a contributor to these programmes by making a donation!

The Festival has recently set up a partnership with the Transnational Giving Europe. network. This enables European citizens* and United Kingdom nationals to support our projects by making a donation, all while benefiting from tax advantages in their country of residence.
